Important information • This production is a non-paid voluntary production • Douglas Theatre Arts Group is the licence holder of this production and has final say in all matters. • Successful applicants may be required to take individual lessons to achieve the required standard for the production. • Commitment to complete the necessary rehearsals will be required by all performers successful in acquiring roles. • All roles acquired by minors under the age of 18 must have parental approval. • All applicants successful in acquiring roles for this production must be members of the Douglas Theatre Arts group. (Memberships are A$20 which covers the period of the financial year. This is a compulsory measure for insurance purposes and you will be invoiced for this.) Cast production cost for Libretto Printing, tuition and administration is $80. Total cast member cost $100 to be in production. All other expenses are covered by the Douglas Theatre Arts Group. *

Cast and Crew Expectation Agreement

The following lists Douglas Theatre Arts Group expectations for the cast and crew of our shows: 1.) Respectful speech and behaviour is expected of everyone at all times. 2.) There is no smoking, alcohol, or drug use permitted on premises. 3.) All production staff, personnel, volunteers, fellow cast, and crew members will be always treated respectfully. 4.) Rehearsal space will be always left clean and safe. 5.) Parents are required to sign in and sign out their children under age 16 at each rehearsal and be on time. 6.) Running and/or horseplay of any kind will not be permitted. Cast is encouraged to bring quiet activities, books etc… to keep them occupied when it is not their turn to rehearse. 7.) Accidents and/or injuries must be reported to the Production Staff immediately. 8.) Appropriate apparel should be worn always. (Comfortable clothes children can move around in for all, dance shoes when needed) 9.) DTAG (or any rehearsal facility) shall not be held responsible or liable for any accidents or injuries sustained while rehearsing for or performing in the production. 10.) Once acceptance of your role is made (within 24 hours of offer) all fees made to DTAG are non-refundable. If DTAG does not receive a response from you within 24 hours of the offer your role will be re-cast. 11.) No absences will be allowed for this production without prior approval. Any absences must be approved prior to accepting any roles. Please advise on the form above any days you will be unavailable. 12.) All copyright scripts will be returned to DTAG erased and clean with no visible damage. Cast members not returning original scripts will be charged the non-return fee of $50 that the licensee charges DTAG. 13.) Rehearsal and performance spaces are required to be cleaned before any cast member leaves. DTAG’s goal is to leave spaces better than we originally came. 14.) Any photos, or rehearsal information and activities are to be kept off the Internet and online sites such as Instagram, snapchat, Facebook etc… due to copyright and privacy laws. Rehearsal information stays at rehearsal and should not be discussed outside the space with friends etc… 15.) Cast member/family will be liable for any damage caused by cast members to DTAG materials, costumes, rehearsal spaces etc… including lost costumes, property damage etc… 16.) The Copyrighter has strict rules regarding the productions characters, and it is understood these rules will be followed by all cast members. The Production Staff reserve the right to automatically release any cast or crew member at any time for any reason. The agreement to partake in this production in no way legally or otherwise obliges Douglas Theatre Arts Group Inc. to any financial or other commitment. This is not a contracted agreement, and all participation is done so at the cast member or crew members own will and Douglas Theatre Arts Group has the final say in all respects to the production. *
